Conrail added a white safety stripe to the unit when it was repainted. Conrail #1107 could typically be found working out of Allentown, PA, during the late 1990's. The unit was dead-in-tow along with its SD38 master, returning to Allentown from its maintenance inspection in Enola, PA.
