Baldwin DS-4-4-1000: Photos
Conrail Cyclopedia Quality!

Ironton 751 was the only surviving Ironton engine on Conrail and was Conrail's only DS-4-4-1000. It was never renumbered into Conrail and was retired in its Ironton colors. There is a rumor that a railfan painted out the logo and renumbered the unit while it sat in Altoona's deadline, but until a photo of this surfaces it remains a rumor.
