Ironton #751 was the only surviving Ironton locomotive on Conrail and was Conrail's only Baldwin DS-4-4-1000. It was never renumbered as a Conrail locomotive and was retired in its Ironton colors. There was a rumor that a railfan painted out the logo and renumbered the unit while it sat in Altoona's deadline, but I've never seen any proof.
