Our first encounter with the fairly new, at the time, GE B36-7's occured on 2/10/1984 in Hinsdale, MA Eastbound TV-14X, led by the 5045, was stabbed at the Hinsdale crossovers for an opposing train, as one track on the east slope of Washington Hill was out of service. As the railroad was still ABS signal rules and a TBO was controlling the hand-throw switches and handing up orders to trains running against the flow.
