We're down at the Derry Road grade crossing just to the east of old Hershey chocolate plant. Hershey had several tracks they used here for storing shipments of sugar and other ingredients for the treats they produced in their surrounding plants.

We're out at the bridge over Old West Chocolate Ave, one of my favorite spots in Hershey. It's just west of Hershey Park. If we go west just a bit farther, we'll be at the entrance of the Hershey Foods West Distribution center, which is served by several sidings along with trucks. The Hershey switcher (CR 9526) is passing by us, heading west back to Harrisburg, it's work in Hershey done for the day. Back in the early days, an SW900 used to work Hershey and usually remained park down by the storage tracks at the Derry Street grade crossing, but all the SW900's were retired in 1995.
