CR 9316

CR 9316

RDG 2716 was the only Reading Company SW1200 to be repainted from the green-and-yellow scheme into the solid green scheme. It was repainted green in 1972 after suffering minor damage caused by flooding at Catawissa, PA, from Hurricane Agnes in June 1972. RDG 2718 (CR 9318) was also damaged by Agnes' floodwaters at West Milton, PA, but 2718 was not repainted. Here it has its CR stencils and is renumbered as CR 9316.
