CR 7562 was rebuilt from GP9 PC 7098, which never had time to be renumbered into CR, going straight into the GP10 rebuild program. CR 7562, complete with obligatory broom, is working on local WPLE-33 (Way Freight / Philadelphia Division / Lebanon, PA) that day between Lebanon and Reading.

Josh Holmes, a CRCyc reader, notes that the 7566 was sold sometime in the mid-1990's to New England Southern, which is in Concord, NH. The unit was renumbered #566 in a weathered Conrail blue. The unit was used daily to switch local industries in the Concord and Bow, NH area. It also took the 2-3 times a week train down to the interchange with Guilford in Manchester, NH. Thomas Mitchell says that in early 2006 NES 566 (ex-CR 7566) was sold to a private operator in Lincoln, New Hampshire. New England Southern replaced NES 566 with an ex-Union Pacific GP39-2 2370. Shortly after being sold, NES 566 was sold to the Belvidere & Delaware River Railway. I have no info after 2008.
