With the advent of the Atlas HO RS-1 pre-painted in Penn Central, here is a shot of a PC unit that lingered into the Conrail era. Notice the remnants of the unit's original red "P"! From the collection of Dan Halpert.

PC RS-1 9937 at Collinwood (Cleveland), Ohio in July 1977. The snow jet coupled to the nose might be one of the first of its kind, as this type of snow melting device was invented at Collinwood.
