MoW: Vehicles
|

As John writes, despite the presence of Guilford and D&H power, this is Enola in June 1985. D&H had trackage rights into Enola from the Sunbury Line as part of the Conrail creation deal. Power was parked along US Route 15 near here Conrail parks their camp cars. The three Conrail vehicles are welding truck J1225 in blue, hi-rail trcuk X1236X, and blue tool pickup E1507. I haven't got a clue how CR decided on vehicle numbers.

This is one of my favorite photos in the MoW section and I thank Roger for it. You're looking at a Chevy van in Penn Central green paint with a locomotive-size "CR" stencil plus a loco sticker for its maitenance base of Collinwood. Paint this and put it on your layout and listen to the comments!
