A 40' boxcar turned into a storage shed. NS quickly removed these cars from Enola in 1999 because when I visted Enola after the take-over, I do not remember seeing these cars when I took a photo of the sign in the foreground.

40' Conrail Tool Supply Car. Former RDG 109290, built 11-56. Reading repainted car in 1962. Conrail applied their markings in 7-77. This would make an interesting model! I do not have a photo of the other sides though. I ran out of film and never saw it again!

Raritan River:
Raritan River 40' boxcar turned into a storage shed. This shed has been there for a very long time. RR 100, built 6-26. Was to be renumbred CR 47163. This was the RR's first steel boxcar and was purchased in 1910 from Standard Steel Car. However, it was not used in interchange service. The boxcar disappeared when they moved the yard office to the other end of the yard.
