Notes: Pure Blue Triad. This triad is close to Reaper's 9706 Pure Blue Triad. I like Ceramcoat's Navy Blue. It's a bit lighter than other navy blues. I use it for my ACW Union coats as the base coat. Blue Jay might be a tad light as a highlight, but I haven't found a better craft paint shade. I own Reaper's Sky Blue and often use that instead of Blue Jay in this triad.

Notes: Blue Jeans Triad. I love Ceramcoat's Denim Blue for painting blue jeans on 28mm figures. This is the triad I always use for Denim Blue. Unfortunately, the major craft stores no longer carry Blueberry, and I only have one bottle left. Unless I mail order some craft paint, I will have to use the triad below, substituting Navy Blue for Blueberry or buying a bottle of Navy Blue and lightening it. My Blueberry is actually lighter than Navy Blue, though it doesn't look that way on screen.

Notes: Dolphin Grey has just the right tint of blue in it for a highlight! The Deep Midnight Blue is if you want a dark shadow, or you could use Wedgwood Blue in the triad below, giving a slightly shallower shadow color.
