I always like when I get to post photos of an engine in its original predecessor colors and then repainted in blue. CR 6598 is no exception. While this photo is not the best quality, you can see the changes from EL 3327 below to its more worn blue incarnation here. This unit was eventually renumbered CR 6598, but it has been able to escape the black paint for the past 2 months after the CR take-over when Dick snapped this shot of it.
