Conrail Cyclopedia EMD SD-45-2: References Magazine Articles: "Conrail's Original Beast--The SD-45-2," Dan Bourque. Railroad Model Craftsman. March 2000, 52-58. A good modeling article with an unusally generous amount of prototype information. Uses a Rail Power Products SD-45-2 shell and Cannon & Company parts. Creates a good model. I disagree with his choice of number board decals--they don't match the prototype. I haven't bothered to check if a closer match is available. This is a minor quibble compared to the overall model.
