Conrail inherited a total of 2 C-430's from the Reading Company and 10 from the Penn Central, which were former New York Central units. They were assigned to series CR 2048-2059.The roster below covers those units operated by Conrail between April 1976 and the retirement of the final unit. Since all units were retired before June 1999, none were transferred to CSX and Norfolk Southern.
