53' GSC Commonwealth flatcar with cast steel frame and wood deck. Platform area is 535 square feet. Former PC/PRR flatcars. If modeling this class in HO scale, Walthers makes a very close match precorated in Conrail and PRR. You can replace the deck with American Model Builders's laser-cut replacement wood deck; they also make a planking kit with laser-etched bolt holes. Tichy also makes a fine HO model of this class predecorated for the PRR. Walthers also makes an N scale version of the class.
